  • ThruNite T10T NW 169 Lumen shorting on cap loosen

So i bought this light in 2015...
    Used here and there...
let the kid play with it etc etc...
So today i decided to play with it...
I keep it stored without batteries and i have some new eneloop black batteries....
So i noticed when i tried cycling thru the light output via twisting cap on and off...
    My light would stop working...
Does anyone else have this issue?
I checked my battery and it showed less than one volt on the charger
and i know these are fully charged batteries...
    So i took next battery...
Tested it with a fluke multimeter...
Verified by placing it in charger,,,
    conclusion..
    I have fully charged battery....
Then i proceed to duplicate the problem,,,
    and sure enough...
The battery is shorting out on cap twist on and off...
Ive contacted thrunite direct to get warranty issued resolved..
    literally just emailed...
so this is not a complaint...
    Im handling my complaint...
This is a potential bug review and issue i have noticed in my light..
    it could be a fluke..
    it could be just mine...
but its still something that happened to this light,,
    this model,,
and this should be taken into consideration
when you order a light or if you have already ordered one..
Try this and see if its a bug or glitch...
maybe its my dumb self and i did something im ignorant to...
    So if anyone
    has any information
that can help me or if you
    have the same problem,,chime in...
i have no issue being corrected and take
constructive criticism...hope im the only one with
the issue..because these are great lights...
    good day...
Working...
